We, Kurt Maier Motor-Press, are an general agency of the US company Avtron , Ohio . Within our range of products we now offer tacho-generators as well as incremental encoders in optical but also magnetic version.

The main feature of these products are its´ robust design – thus they are specifically suitable for the application in the hoisting, crane and heavy industry. Incremental encoders are leading in the US on the field of fan adjustment on wind power plants (Pitchmotors).

The optical incremental encoders are designed with an unbreakable disc as well as a wide-gap technology (the air gap between sensor and disc is 8 times higher) – thus they are insensitive to shock and vibration. 

The extreme hard shaft at the encoders of type HS25A, HS35A as well as HS35M can be changed to adjust easily the different shaft diameters.

The magnetic encoders distinguish by insensitiveness to water, condensation, oil and extreme dirt.  All encoders have a solidly designed bearing to guarantee a long operating time even under extreme conditions.
