Emac was established in December 1989 as a trading company for Electric Motors and Electric Motor Components.

Emac market and distribute the following brands in South Africa.

• component programme for electric motors - aluminium and cast iron
•  forced ventilation units IP66
• cemp International flameproof motors and pumps from Italy
• RAEL aluminium flameproof motors
• F&G - ATB electric flameproof motors
• TEE aluminium range of electric motors
• the entire range of motors from VEM-Germany since 1995
• AEM electric motors and generators
• mistral centrifugal fans
• AVTRON extremely durable incremental encoder

Emac compliment a total of 11 employees and our expected turnover for 2009 is R30 Million.

Emac is solely owned by Kurt Maier Motor-Press (kMMp).
